Objective
Redesign Web site to portray Wynonna's new image and better organize information for her fans.
By all accounts, Wynonna is a superstar on the country music scene. During her career she has sold millions of albums, had many top ten hits, and won numerous music industry awards. She is also very dedicated to her fans.
Wynonna approached Monster Media & Marketing to give her Web site a new look that appealed to her country and mainstream music fans. In addition, Monster Media & Marketing was challenged to reorganize the Web site so that fans and others could easily find the information they want and benefit from the site's interactive features.
The redesign project focused on these two goals. Monster Media & Marketing design team developed a visual approach that portrays Wynonna as strong, sophisticated and fun - without having a traditional "country" focus. The design uses many photographs throughout to communicate the varied sides of this superstar.
Monster Media & Marketing strategic team developed a site architecture communicated through a simple, consistent navigation system. This new architecture enables visitors to easily get to the most important sections of the site, emphasizes the timeliest information, and subtly focuses on the site's revenue-generating features (e.g., online store, fan club membership).
Dynamic behind-the-scenes applications were also augmented as part of this project to allow Wynonna's fan club staff more flexibility in making Web site updates. The new site met with a huge applause by Wynonna fans and gave Wynonna Inc. the look and features that will grow with Wynonna's ever-changing and successful career.
